Japan’s auto workers are asking their employers for a bigger share of their projected 4 trillion yen ($33.6 billion) in annual profit in the form of a raise for the next fiscal year.All 11 unions representing workers at Japan’s auto companies will demand a 6,000 yen ($50) monthly raise for the fiscal year beginning in April, the Confederation of Japan Automobile Workers’ Unions said in a statement. The group has about 766,000 members at parts suppliers, dealers and the automakers.
