Celebrities are just like normal people.
The difference is they're constantly exposed to us via the tube or the airwaves. From television to music to whatever other medium can be dominated, stars have the same auto lust as our very own Spies right here.
But just like normal folks have a wide and varied taste, the same can be said of celebrities. And if you take a pass at this gallery, you'll see some interesting whips.
Take, for example, 50 Cent who -- according to this article -- has a special one-off vehicle commissioned to look like something from Star Trek. Weird. Or, how about a proper driver, like Patrick Dempsey, who actually has owned an Indy car team and now participates in Grand Am racing. Now that's pretty cool.

When cost is not a consideration, the cars that celebrities choose to buy sometimes border on the eccentric. Musician Wyclef Jean owns a classic Cadillac with a pink mink interior. Actor George Clooney has been known to drive an electric-powered kit car no wider than a motorcycle. Rapper 50 Cent commissioned a sports car that looks like a "Star Trek" spacecraft. But not all celebs seek out the weird and wacky; Porsche nut Jerry Seinfeld and amateur racer Patrick Dempsey drive ordinary production vehicles, albeit performance marques such as Porsche and Lotus.
