I thought Koenigsegg was about to BK. I think I would be trying to find a way to avoid that, rather than finding a way to build cars that will sell even less units than they sell now.

I cannot imagine what all that carbon costs on that sucker.

So with your logic, they should start making $12,000 USD cars so they can sell loads and become Millionaires ?

Newsflash:

Some People are in the Auto Building business for the love of cars not the Profits.

But i guess you would not understand that, 1 guess as to which country you are from.

"Some People are in the Auto Building business for the love of cars not the Profits."

Exactly. You made my point. And I'm not going to personally attack you b/c I'm obviously more intelligent than you. You making my point is a great example of that.

If you don't find a way to stay in business, you cannot build cars for the love of it. It just doesn't work that way.

If you or I don't have a job, then we don't get to do things we are passionate about. Same thing with these guys.

The fastest speeding ticket in the USA was set by a guy in Texas driving the first CCX at 242 MPH, according to Top Gear. Basically, Ill take one!

That is slightly over the 80 mph limit here. They should have let it slide

For those of you people reading articles regarding the end of Koenigsegg I can assure you there is no reason to be alarmed. Being Swedish myself and following all related news regarding Koenigsegg first hand I can tell you the facts are not quite right here. Recently there was a interview with Christian von Koenigsegg in Swedish radio where the reporter asked him about the rumors that his company is in serious financial trouble. Christian told the reporter that the matter had been successfully resolved and his company where moving forward in better shape than ever and the order books for the CCX where full until at least the summer of 2009.
The origin and reason for the BK articles is based on the fact that the fully owned Koenigsegg daughter company in Norway was being sued by a angry wealthy Norwegian CCX customer after he crashed his CCX one week after he took delivery of his CCX supercar. Koenigsegg daughter company in Norway offered him a new one but he insisted on the cash and Koenigsegg in Norway refused at first so he brought it up in court and demanded it to be held in bankruptcy. The layers from both parties (Koenigsegg HQ Sweden) settled a deal in witch both parties where satisfied. Neither Koenigsegg HQ Sweden or the Norwegian customer wants to give any further comments regarding exactly what the deal contained. Today Koenigegg is concentrating on the launch of the Special Edition of the CCX and CCXR due to be showed and delivered to the first customers on the 2008 Geneva auto show in march.
