With a development period of almost 10 years, it appears that the Lexus supercar dubbed the LF-A will finally enter production after this year’s Tokyo Motor Show! According to Japan’s Best Car Magazine, the new vehicle will carry a 5.0-liter engine capable to develop around 550 hp.

Regarding the design of the car, it seems that this will be very close to the concept, but with minor adjustments such as redesigned air intakes and a new rear wing spoiler which, just like the one found on the Porsche 911 series, is activated after the car reaches 80 km/h. The Lexus supercar, will be produced in a very limited edition of just 500 units, while 120 units will be delivered in Japan! Deliveries are expected to start in mid-2010! More details to be revealed soon!
