It appears that Lexus is unbeatable on the United States luxury auto market, as the Japanese brand secured the top spot for the 11th straight year. According to the official figures, Lexus sold 27,560 cars and sport-utility vehicles in December in the U.S. and an impressive 229,329 for 2010. Still, the brand’s sales fell 3.5 percent in December from a year earlier, but the sales rose 6.2 percent for all of 2010. As expected, the second place was taken by Bmw, which sold 9,216, less vehicles than Lexus.
