Besides the Lotus Eagle, Lotus announced today that it will also unveil the Eco Elise at the London Motor Show later this month. Using the Elise S as the basis, the Lotus Eco Elise project shows a different take to the ‘green’ rather than concentrating on CO2 emissions.
The body panels and trims are constructed of sustainable materials, hemp, eco wool and sisal combined with hi-tech water based paint solutions. Lotus says the car showcases new and affordable green technologies.
