Lotus shows off their new Eco Elise model

Lotus has decided to build an environmentally-friendly car, the Eco Elise demo vehicle.

The car is going to be unveiled at the British Motor Show and it has shed just over 70lbs of weight compared to a standard Elise S.

If the Lotus driver needs a shift light to identify more fuel efficent shift points, they are in that car for the wrong reasons. Still... I admire their effort with this car
