Massive gallery for the new Audi A4
The new A4 is an incredibly important car for Audi as it’s not just the largest seller, but also the first all-new A4 for almost eight years. Underneath the skin is Audi’s latest Modular Longitudinal Platform (MLP) that is shared with the Audi A5 and will eventually make its way to more future Audi models. The A4’s design doesn’t try to be revolutionary or polarizing like the BMW 3-series, however this model has numerous small styling details that really work to enhance the look. Read Article

Nice, but...

I'd hate Audi's styling to stray too far away from beautiful shapes/simply detailed, and this is venturing a bit too far into a 'silly' flame-surfacing territory for me.

Headlights, tailights, hood, doors, trunk lid, fenders, and rear quarter-panels. Not to mention that this car is longer, wider, and taller than the last gen A4. The only thing that resembles the last gen car is the "c" pillar.

Nice but as with all Non "S" or "RS" Audis; expect Toyota Camry like acceleration at BMW 335 prices. Audi offers the worse bang-for-the-buck than any other make. Audi's are overpriced and underpowered.

Not to be a hypocryte, but if Audi gives the standard A4 a 300hp engine, then it will probably be my next car. If not, I'll just get an EVO 10.

The A4 2.0T is actually the least-expensive car in this class, if you discount non-players like the Saab 9-3 and Acura TSX.

It also provides the best small engine of the bunch. The 2.0T, which will probably be upgraded to about 220hp, is superb. It puts Lexus's 2.5L, Mercedes's 3.0L and BMW's de-tuned straight six to shame with its wide torque band and high-revving nature. It will be the A4 to have, and with a stick and quattro, should get to 60 in six seconds flat. For $31K. Not bad!

If that's not fast enough for you, tune it, but don't get the 3.2. THAT's the ripoff. not overpriced- but there's no reason to get it with the 2.0T there. It will probably get to 60 in about 5.7 seconds, which is fast, but not fast enough. It's also less inspiring than the 2.0T. If you NEED a bigger engine, get the S4.

The 2.0t will be upgraded to 250hp and I'm seriously considering it. The standard 2.0 is on the slow side IMO. Do you realize that an Acura RDX (the cute-ute)can outperform the Audi 2.0t?

Audi's aren't underpowered and overpriced. You get superb craftsmanship. The fit and finish on Audi's (even VW's) are satisfactory.

Audi makes great engines the 2.0T is not to be snubbed.

You do realize that the Acura RDX can outperform the Audi 2.0t? I'm sorry but if a cute-ute can outperform a german sports sedan, then that sedan needs more to be desired.

LexSucks, the RDX is a fine tall wagon. Its 2.3 liter engine is more powerful than the 2.0 liter Audi, and in typical Acura fashion, it's a finely build and comfortable car. But you're comparing apples and oranges.

If you want a truly quick sedan, you buy an S4, M3, IS, etc.
If you want a truly quick ute, you buy a Cayenne.

What exactly is the point of identifying how fast the RDX is in a blog entitled, "Massive gallery for the new Audi A4"?
