Mazda6 Mazdaspeed MPS pics leak
Word has been circulating for several months now that the Mazdaspeed Mazda6 will not be returning to U.S. showrooms once the current model is sold out. Whether that holds true remains to be seen, but it looks like Mazda is at least planning to sell a Mazdaspeed (MPS) version of the car in non-U.S. markets - the leaked pics of the Atenza (as the Mazda6 is called in several markets outside the U.S.) Mazdaspeed Concept look very much like a production car.

The pictures leaked onto forums around the web today, and show a lower, sleeker looking Mazdaspeed6 with ten-spoke 18in alloy wheels and massive intake vents under the headlights.

Great looking vehicle - No Doubt!

I'm just not certain that those particular 'ground effects' flatter the rest of the design all that well.

Totally impractical and a pain in the ass to own. The front bumper is the culprit. It hangs far too low and is bound to receive some serious damage when parking nose first against a curb or parking lot divider. I'm not idiot enough to buy a vehicle with this design flaw that forces me to be constantly on my guard to avoid front bumper damage. One should buy a car that relaxes not one that stresses you out.

EL34, go bail a hay or something you dumb sasquatch.

Nobody cares about your stupid opinions anymore..

I'm fan of Japanese cars but I admitted many, many times, how I adore some european cars even though they are unreliable as hell.

That is a very good looking family sedan!

I, however, am with DaHarder on this one; the ground effects do not flatter the rest of the design. They are just kind of... "there".

Yes, I agree... the standard new 6 looks hot enough already; no kits were needed. Maybe just a very slight exterior modification, like on the current MS6.

I guess whoever wrote this article didn't realise there probably won't be a new MPS as the current one wasn't as sucessful as Mazda hoped.

Oh and this 'leaked picture' is a crappy photoshop.

Looks similar to the Toyota Aurion. The fake side has to go thou. I do not like those fake things. Not bad overall.
