After revealing the brand-new compact four-door coupe at the Detroit Motor Show last month and announcing the more potent CLA45 AMG will be coming to the NYC Auto Show, Mercedes-Benz continues to keep the CLA-Class firmly fixed in our consciousness by introducing the CLA Edition 1.



The German carmaker says it will only be available for twelve months, but the Edition 1 can be ordered now priced from 35,402.50 Euros in exclusive colors of mountain grey, cosmos black, night black, cirrus white or design polar silver magno.

The more they show of this little car the more overwrought and goofy it looks.

CLS styling cues simply don't translate well to this smaller platform and all that crazy side 'sculpting' just looks silly and desperate to cover up the fact that the overall shape is just plain/dull.
