Isn't the power of the people a frustrating thing?

Might be frustrating to some, but it's hilarious to me; whether it's ugly, mediocre cars or dumbass, ignorant hick politicians, if the people are stupid enough to settle for either, that's on them.

Tattedtwice,

You really need to zip it if you've never driven these cars.

Two months ago my wife became the proud owner of an '08 Mercedes-Benz C350 Sport (traded in the Infiniti FX45 for it). Underpowered you claim? Not at all. This car is in fact quite agile and the engine response is excellent. On paper 268-horsepower might not look impressive compared to the competition, but when you're behind the wheel experiencing the car first hand it is a totally different story.

The C350 isn't underpowered at all. Also, since when is 0-60 that important? All those "kids" on Autospies who talk about the importance of 0-60 really don't know anything about cars. In daily driving 0-60 is the least of your worries. Midrange acceleration is far more important and the C350 is no slouch here. This car belongs to my wife, yet I am always eager to take it for a spin because it is incredibly comfortable, fast, refined and solidly built and engineered.

Mark my words, this car was worth every penny. I am highly impressed with the W204 C-Class, hence I bought my wife one (couldn't say the same about the last generation model, the W203).

I own a '07 Mercedes-Benz S550 and as I've just shared, my wife drives a new C350 Sport. Previously she had an Infiniti FX45 and before that a Lexus RX300. Prior to my S550 I had a '98 Mercedes-Benz E420.

You replaced your RX300 with an Infiniti FX? Why?

People arent looking for power. They want fuel economy. Thats why the C class out sold the G. The current engine should be an optional upgrade

And maybe you might need to lay off the net porn, so your keys won't be all sticky and double up, mmeecc.

Hey "tattedtwice",
Me and my model girlfriend both love net porn, and so do hundreds of millions of people, so even though that was a "sad" comeback, I forgive you.....

Seems to me you haven't been "tatted" in a while, so when you have, come back and join us.

that mercedes sales are stable makes total sense. mercedes buyers are luxury buyers, not value buyers. they're simply not affected as much in slower economic times.

Who cares... Are these the kind of "headlines" we can expect every time the monthly sales figures are released for EACH manufacturer?
