Toyota is smart. Why do business with Diamler! they have shown who they really are and its not good.

Yeah Hyundai Engines/Trannies and Toyota Platforms, I guess Mercedes is serious about making the A and B-class good cars.

Toyota is in some serious trouble and there is more and more evidence that they will be overtaken by Volkswagen in the next years concerning sales numbers. They have to look out for new partners to reduce costs and share platforms. The rumors are based on an article in the magazine Auto, Motor & Sport. The people there are normally very well informed...

Why on earth should Mercedes team up with Toyota? To see how they copy?

On the other hand, the planned cooperation with BMW could be a success.

EURENCAP rates Toyotas far above Mercedes Benz. The 'cage' design in the A-class doesn't really do much.
