Mercedes-McLaren SLR Popular in Dubai
Recently one of our friends visited Dubai and mentioned a teenager driving around in a Ferrari Enzo and the jealousy he felt when he saw him. Dubai is quickly becoming a huge market for expensive luxurious cars as well as supercars. Check out these new images of the Mercedes-McLaren SLR driving around in Dubai. Dubai will also get the world’s first Formula F1 theme park which is in developing phase as you read this. Read Article

Nice car. I heard Dubai is like heaven on earth. People born there are supposedly millionaires.

I hate the way they put the license plate on the front. Why can’t they figure out a better way to display the plate.

Ah Dubai...I've heard it described by people in my field as the only place on earth that has "a Bentley parked on every street"

Dubai is beautiful. I was fortunate to stay at Burj Al Arab and it was luxury at its best. Dubai seems to be the right place to own a supercar because of the wealth this city has. Its taken what 20 some odd years for this former trading port to transform into a thriving city with a good number of millionaires & billionaires. From supercars to luxury they have it.

My parents live in Dubai. So i visit them regularly.Actually i visit sharjah more(5 KM from dubai)for business purpose.

Half of my life is spent there.

BTW,All of u r right.Dubai is very rich. The theme park which omarrana is pointing will be completed in the next 1 to 2 years. It's called Ferrari theme park.It will be built with 90% red meterial. It's rumour to have atleast one model of each Ferrari ever built.

Other significant spots in Dubai are The man made islands called PALM ISLAND.There will be a total of 3 PALM ISLANDS.One is already completed and the owners will be handed the keys this March. The other Two Palm islands PALM JUMEIRA and PALM JABEL ALI will be completed in 1 and 2 years respectively.

Then there is the World City,Duabi Media city,Dubai shopping festival city....etc

All in All,the City of UAE,Duabi has the highest standards of living in the whole world and according to stats(if it contineuo expnading at this rate) it will be the world's most expensive city in 2015 and also maybe the busiest and Richest.

Here 2007 represents Model year not total number of cars produced.

They are rich because we end specially the americans buy cars with big engines that uses a lot of gas, which they sell to us (all over the world)and make tons of money.
Save gas buy a car with a smaller engine you will even poulute less.

In here, BMW sells more 7 series' than 3 series'. Luxury cars are like camrys. The only major problem here in Dubai is traffic!!! Anyway they are trying to solve this problem.

U r right M53R about 7 series being the best seller from BMW.
Even the S class is the best selling Mercedes in this area and so is the Audi A8(Very less than the S Class but now they r really making an impact).
On separate note, GM(Caprice and suburban especially) have always been the status symbols for the Sheikhs in past.(Real rich arabs).
But now this has changed,S class and Toyota Landcruiser have their places.

yes and land cruisers are more than oxygen atoms in the air ( which is really annoying ) Anyway I consider dubai the best city on earth. Just if they lower the rent prices........

Yea Dubai is an amazing place from what my friends that live there tell me. With all the development, like Dubai Land, palm Islands, and the world Islands its a wealthy place. Lambos, Bentleys, & SLR's big supposedly.

Interesting thing...David Beckham owns England in the World Islands Project...pretty nuts...

You must be joking...that idiot David Beckham and that whore wife of his own England in the World project? Sitting in some big stadium watching human games...its all very Roman, but what happened to the "we who are about to die part"? I swear along with Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton those two are in the running for "stupidest people alive"

I just want to know one thing: where are these people's parents? [in particular Paris Hilton's] I know people in similar situations, except their parents have significantly more money than the Hiltons and if they acted like Paris Hilton, they would be disowned. The Vanderbilts knew how to raise their children, why can't the Hilton's do it. Just proof that being "trailer trash" has little to do with owning a trailer.

That was off topic addmitedly
