Mercedes SL 600 full of Diamonds worth $4.8million
Everyone knows Rich Arabs love cars to their preferences. If they really like a car and want to customize they will spend whatever it takes to get it done to look unique. This car belongs to price Al Waleed from Saudi Arabia and he decided to mix two things he likes: Mercedes cars and diamonds. his SL 600 is fully covered with diamonds and it costs $4.8 million. If you want to touch this lovely car you will have to pay $1,000. This is just dumb, I hope he has a lot of bodyguards when he’s driving around because I know if he left his car unattended I’d take some diamonds. If you could put diamonds on a car which would you put it on?

4.8M wow. and diamonds worth 4.7 Million of that.
anyway, there are many here in UAE too who do such type of things, i have heard many similar stories but in most of them the car was Mercedes.
like a UAE coustomer ordered an ML55 AMG but wanted 700BHP and 6 tailpipes(3 on each side), another case, again a UAE coustomer went to MB along with 4 kilo gram of pure gold powder, he ordered SL65 AMG and wanted his car to be painted diamond black and the gold powder to be mixed with the paint. ete etc etc.
Mercedes is undoubtley considered the most prestigeous brand here in Middle East.

Dear Autospies,
At what point does bigotry and ignorance become enough to ban. Even in satire genocide is never acceptable. Having comments like this on you website just lowers its journalistic integrity.
Hater, you want to lessen OPEC influence, quit buying oil.

I would have rather put gold flakes in a nice black paint and have the gold glitter instead of this overdone glitter ball. It's a cool concept in theory but in practice it looks awful. When I first saw it I thought it was crazy but now it's just out of this world. Two thumbs down.

By the way it ruined a beautiful car. One of the most high end luxury sports-GT coupe/roadsters in the market. What a shame.

I thought it had to be something strange...they would have to be industrial class diamonds like they use on cutting blades and PDC bits to drill oil wells, in to cover the car for a mere $4.7 million.
Some people live in a strange world- I swear. If you want a nice normal looking not-too-flashy diamond wedding ring, but set with very good quality diamonds it will cost $60,000 or so depending on the size.
As sort of a tangent, I had friend who lived in an older condo building here, and right after he moved in a very old woman who lived there died. As I recall, her jewelery collection was the largest single private jewelry collection ever auctioned by Christie's. There were single pieces that were sold for more than $4.8 million dollars.

It is amazing how much people hate the Rich.
The vehicle pictured above is COVERED WITH CRYSTALS and not Diamonds as suggested by the article.
This story is over 2 years OLD

Is it our fault you do not have Diesel Fueled Vehicles ?
When i am in the USA I do not Bitch about Petrol Prices and i spend $140 a week on gas at the very least.
If your income is Low do something about it.
Stop blaming the world for your shortcomings and change your buying habits.
If you look real hard you can find Diesel Powered Vehicled in the USA and you could enjoy 35-65mpg like the rest of us.
I am self employed and get to travel the World, Leeching is reserved for Idiots like yourself who spend all day Feeling Sorry for themselves and Blaming Everybody Else.

How many of those People SAVED any money during the good times ?
How many of those People voted for your Crazy Current Administration ?
How many of those People are in homes Way Too Expensive for them to afford comfortably ?
I admit there are many trapped with the Crash through no fault of their own but the vast majority of the sufferers are responsible for their distress.
I and my friends are enjoying PROFITS from the Housing Market Crash in the USA & UK
I told you.
If you Look Real Hard, there is always a way to turn negative looking situations into Positive Realities
