Mommy Uses Her BMW X5 To Tell The Kids She's Getting A Boob Job?
Well not exactly.

But it sure is funny that in the new picture book designed to break it to your kids that you're having plastic surgery that Mommy is in and next to her BMW X5 in some of the illustrations!

LOL!

Preposterous products: Kid's book about Mom's boob job

Michael Salzhauer, a Florida plastic surgeon and father of four, recently sat down to address a nagging question; how do mommies explain to their four to seven year old children how she suddenly gained three cup sizes or lost those well-earned worry lines? His answer? A picture book, of course.

CarGuy1, what about someone who buys a BMW just to get an inherently balanced in-line 6 engine -- does that a whore make also?

This guy's creating a controversy to get attention and more patients. The media outlets are falling for it too by making a big deal about this silly book.

I know plastic surgery is accepted as "normal," but dammit, it doesn't really sit right with me that the media continues to propagate these images. More and more, people think that they have to be "perfect" physically when the first thing they need to improve is their sense of self.
I love my country, but some aspects of it, like the culture of celebrity and media, absolutely suck. At least we're free to buy the type of car we want.

Most of the BMW drivers are all plastic(show offs). Think about it, most of the people who drive BMWs are executive men and their shopping mongering wives who rarely drive the cars to extract performance, but rather drive their car to exude some sort of image: often the modern, cutting edge tech, and performance oriented nature of the BMW cars render it's drivers to look very modern and a person with dynamic characters. It makes me sick to look at such drivers, who make a statement with their car and attire: such drivers portray the image that they are tech savvy through their M5 car, cutting edge modern by wearing Abercrombie polos and oakley sunglasses, and the most successful in their profession by showing off their attire and off course their BMW car. Rather than enjoying the car purely for it's performance, these sick drivers, just buy the car as a fashion statement, and a commodity to show off their image and status. Nowadays, rather than having purity of mind and spirit, people wear this cutting edge clothes, wear sporty sunglasses, and have armani shoes to exude the sense that they are superior and successful, it is bold and aggressive, but it only causes division rather than harmony.

I am all about purity, and natural free flowing senses, and i love car's because of the speed, and cornering forces, and the engaging motivation you get from balancing the car from sliding it's back out. I enjoy cars because of the way a driver can flow with the car's motion and almost feel like one, not because i want to use the car in a pathetic way of making myself look richer, moderner, more successful, or like a fashion savvy to ultimately make myself look superior to one who is lacking in all such matter.

Enjoy the car for it's purity, the ultimate expression of joy through enthralling moments of interaction with the dynamics and pace of the motion. Unfortunately most of us buy cars to make a statement, and i agree that making a statement with a car can not be completely avoided, but what i hate to see is deliberate attempt to showcase the car as a mean of expressing my image.

Now deboost me.

While I understand what you're saying, trust me, I did not buy my Bimmer because of how I thought it would make me look. I bought it because of its performance. Most people complain about my 3 Series: "It's not big enough," "You should have gotten a 5," "Oh, you're one of those people who thinks your s**t don't stink, aren't you?"
Naahhhhh. I just like shifting my own gears, hearing a straight-six motor at 5,000 rpm and enjoying the kind of handling that makes me feel like a hero, even though I know I'm not.
That's why I bought my Bimmer. As far as those other people you described, I grant you there are many like that, but not all of us are. Judge each person on his or her own merits.

true, i should have said, all luxury car drivers rather than just BMW drivers. So most drivers of Mercedes Benz, Lexus, Audi, BMW, Infiniti and Acura drivers drive their cars because they want to show off rather than drive for pure enjoyment.

Audi is on an amazing run. From being almost extinct in the U.S. market 20 years ago to becoming a dominating force ruthlessley pressuring Mercedes-Benz by the day for sales across the globe....Audi is on a tear.

With the Chinese market set to become the world's largest car market in the next few years, Audi will sales will be white hot considering the company already ousells BMW by a 2 to 1 margin.

Add to that lower costs making the Audis more affordable than their BMW counterparts, production to take place in China (Q5) and a model onslaught that will see the best of Quattro GmbH in the coming years (R8 V10, RS5, R8 light, TT-RS) and Mercedes-Benz will be a distant 3rd place memory.
