I hooked up my accelerator to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

What we know so far about the 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is that it will hardly grow in size but will closely resemble the style of the Mercedes CLS.

The most obvious change to the front of the 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be the square shaped headlamps that Mercedes replaced with the circular feel they used to have. On the inside, the 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class cockpit will have a mixture of the new S-Class and C-Class elements.

The car will have the usual V6 and V8 engines, along with a new 6.3 liter V8 engine for the E63 AMG that develops 550 or more horsepower.

A wagon variant of the E-Class will follow 6 months after the launch of the sedan...

Take that extra light piece off the trunk and they might have something.

However it turns out it will still maintain class, style, and now quality(after improving from the late 90's). These rendering images will not that exact but perhaps give us an idea of what direction they are headed. For sure the C-Class elements will be incorporated into the new E. I also think it will look towards the S and the CL for styling cues as well.

It looks sort of like a MKZ/Zephr is pure crap! It is a given fact that Merc will be better than the low grade MKZ. #1 doors on any Linc is not solid, #2 interior materials are cheap, #3 An MKZ is a flashy Ford Fusion with a different outer shell.

if they removes those lights on the tailgate and left the ones on the sides imo would've looked alot better, the way it is in the pic the taillights just look big

Are they enlarging the AMG 6.2 liter V8 engine to 6.3 liters?

The shape of the car looks great, but the tail lights scream Kia/Hyundai.

Front, it has the Lexus GS headlights, and the rear it has the Lincoln MKZ light.

Look again. The headlights on this thing don't look anything at all like those on the GS. And in case you don't remember, Mercedes reintroduced the whole "four eyed" look in 1996. Lexus copied Mercedes.

One more thing, the shape of the rearlights look very similar to the current Lexus ES350 as well, except this one is uglier.

There is a point where designs will be reused, borrowed, and revamped. But we need to all keep in mind that designs are all subjective. Everyone's tastes are different.
