In the full-size sport-utility vehicle game, one company that should have something on offer but doesn't is Kia. Although the Borrego came around for one year and was promptly shot down, it seems that Kia is considering giving it another 'go.

And it should.

Not only has Kia stepped up its game significantly, if we think someone would have the chance to give the full-size SUV game a run for its money it would be Kia. Not only do we think that Kia has the brass to deliver a good looking production vehicle, as seen with the Sedona minivan the company can deliver an excellent product with an equally solid warranty. 

Having said that, what would a full-size Kia SUV NEED to SUCCEED against the latest and greatest offerings in the space?

The Korean automaker will be displaying its concept at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) but little is known about it at this point.

Kia Motors America will reveal a new concept car January 11 at the 2016 North American International Auto Show. Conceived at the automaker's California design studio, the concept offers an abundance of advanced technology – including state-of-the-art health-and-wellness technology – and takes Kia's design language in a bold new direction, suggesting styling of a possible future premium large SUV in the brand's lineup.
