If I were to think of one vehicle that over the years doesn't stand for sleek, sexy and interesting, it would have to be the Land Rover Discovery. Sure, it was tremendously capable off-road, but considering a good chunk of Land Rover buyers cruise city streets and drop the kids off at school, it didn't exactly make sense to sacrifice SO much form for function.

It seems the message may have gotten through to our British friends since the success of the all-new Evoque. Obviously that vehicle had a much more differentiated character than your standard Land Rover product.

Though we had already seen the all-new Discovery Concept via studio shots, it is MUCH better to see it in the flesh. Namely because we can now actually walk around it and notice things.

Take, for example, the vehicle's rear end. Check out how Land Rover, more or less, "pinched" its design to ensure it remained narrow and tall.

Although initial impressions via users here seemed to joke about it looking too similar to the Ford Explorer, we'd like to know your REAL thoughts: would YOU consider snapping one of these up in production form AND would this be your FIRST Discovery?
