One of the most interesting products to come around in quite some time was the Hyundai Equus. It wasn't its design or its interior that staggered me. It was the fact Hyundai essentially took the "Lexus playbook," and used it against Lexus.

What do I mean by that?

It priced the Equus aggressively, number one. Number two, it provided a ton of equipment that is typically optional in high-end sedans, standard. And lastly, Hyundai brought the Equus to market with innovative approaches that showed potential buyers that service was going to be a KEY element that would differentiate it from the other players.

Remember when the Equus was delivered WITH an Apple iPad as the owner's manual? How about test drives happening at YOUR office or YOUR home?

That said, is the Equus still remaining competitive among large luxury sedans?
