Although the Maserati Levante made its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show (GIMS), the legendary Italian automaker is going to be bringing its all-new big rig to the 2016 New York Auto Show (NYIAS). There’s good reason for this: The US market is expected to be HUGE for the all-new Maserati.
Personally, I will be keeping an eye on the Maserati booth when it comes to the show day. That’s because I really want to see how consumers react to the rather interesting design of the all-new Levante. It’s a bit polarizing, I think.

That said, IF Cupid’s arrow plonks some would-be buyers in the heart, putting a Levante in their garage will not come cheap. Maserati just announced the official pricing for the vehicle that’s expected to boost the company’s sales volume.
Looking for a standard Levante? Be prepared to spend at least $72,000* on the Italian stallion. If the 3.0-liter, bi-turbo six-cylinder engine isn’t enough to fire you up with 345 horsepower then perhaps the Levante S is more your speed. Equipped with the same engine, but tuned differently, it will push out 424 horsepower. Thing is the Levante S will carry a base price of $83,000*.
When you consider the Porsche Cayenne S has 420 ponies and starts at $77,250*, that could be problematic; however, the a la carte optioning over there will have you seeing six figures very quick.
*These prices do NOT include title, taxes or fees.
