One of the most impressive vehicles I drove in 2015 was the current-gen Hyundai Genesis. Although it may have an "H" badge on its trunk lid, I will tell you one thing: it drove far more luxurious than the Hyundai logo would make it seem.
I described it in my Top 007 of 2015 as feeling like a last-gen Mercedes-Benz S-Class and that if I were shopping for a mid-size luxury sedan I'd be hard press to buy a BMW 5-Series, Audi A6 or Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

There's just so little value in those cars these days.
While the design is strong as is, the reality is that the company knows it can continue pushing the needle further. And that's what we're expecting when the Hyundai Genesis "New York Concept" is unveiled at the 2016 New York Auto Show next week.

Hyundai GENESIS will unveil its ‘New York Concept’ at the New York International Auto Show on March 23rd 2016, revealing its ideas of refined design.

Genesis will unveil its 'New York Concept' at the upcoming New York International Auto Show, revealing its ideas of refined design. A design image, together with a teaser film released ahead of the unveiling, hints to the athletic elegance of the four-door sports sedan, expressing the design direction that will distinguish forthcoming Genesis products.
