Yesterday marked the debut of the all-new Toyota Prius Prime. As the plug-in hybrid variant coming from Toyota, it takes the Prius and ups the ante with both styling and by adding a plug. Not only will it be more fuel efficient, it'll also get you two thumbs up with the green crowd.

Of the BIG improvements we noticed, we were particularly taken by the interior's large, Tesla-inspired infotainment display atop the center stack. There was one problem though.

According to what we heard, there were some "issues" with the display yesterday, which is why it wasn't turned on when Agent 001 passed by several times. It is a show car, folks. These things happen. Hell, I've seen a show car not able to turn over so it was pushed into the venue.

The good news is this: When it was being moved, 001 noticed that the screen WAS working. As the wheelman wouldn't stop the vehicle, 001 hustled alongside it and snapped away. In addition, 001 got us the first pictures that show various screens inside the Prius Prime's all-new HUGE infotainment display.

This is a BIG deal because in just about every Toyota and Lexus product we've been in we've noticed that there is room for improvement when it comes to the infotainment system's software/user experience. These images are the first confirmation of a change and we're happy to see it!

See for yourself, below!
