It looks big enough. I like the shape of the roofline. It has a very large rear though. And since when has BMW been using Mercedes-esque turn signal lights on the back of the rearview mirrors?

It IS the new Jaguar S-Type, but it's not called the S-Type, it's called the XF. Although you had a misnomer, thank you so much for these great spy shots!

that's a Lexus LS. The side profile isn't BMW at all, and the rear lights and rectangular exhausts look to me like the LS. Will, you're a Lexus guy, thoughts? BMW puts mock turn signals on their mirrors for test cars all the time, by the way.

nevermind, I stand corrected, I think that might be the new 7-Series. It has the Hofmeister kink and the wheels are very BMW. Doesn't look coupe-ish enough for the CLS competitor though, I think it's the new 7.

A new 8-series maybe?
It's hard to really see anything from those pictures, but from what i can see it looks really good...

Actually, after looking a bit closer at those photos, I have to agree that it does look like a Jaguar, so it is probably the XF...
BTW: Nice weather you have there in Dubai... Looking forward to going there in about two months...

The Sailor, if you are going to Dubai in two months, don't expect a nice weather. Its already above 45C degrees, and in August it will not be cooler. Unless you like the heat, you will be stuck in airconditioned cars, hotels and shopping malls. Nevertheless, there are lots of things to enjoy there. Good luck with your trip.

Nahh... I'll be on my air conditioned ship trying to avoid the engine room (60+C)...
But hopefully, I'll probably be doing a lot of sitting in a car and visiting a lot of shopping malls as well... :D

Well it's definitely not an LS. ;)
I don't think it's a 7-Series either. If this is the next 7-Series, there will be serious issues with headroom for rear-seat passengers. The 7-Series should have more headroom in the back than what we see here...

It looks very good in my opinion. Ugly Bangle design is fading away. That's a good thing.
This is the new 7-series I reckon.

With the low roof, looks more like it could be a BMW 6 series sedan; unless they're adding dual exhaust on the new 7 series.

wow, from these pics i think it could be a 7 or 8,the front end gives off sort of an E60 front end,but i mainly think it could be a 7 or 8 because on the door handles those look like sensors,a lot of plastic supporters underneath, bangle butt looks there, and its hard to tell how the rear looks, course thats why its disguised, sry for the long comment

I pick a Jaguar..definetely not a Lex. b/c the wheel spoke isn't Lex's taste. Probably a waterdowned version of the new XF. This will be the make it or break it attempt and posibly a final one at that for Jag.

It look like it got the Lexus LS rectangular shape exhaust, but I don't think it the Lexus LS. I says it either the Lexus GS-F or the new Jaguar XF. I guess we have to wait and see; I hated when they tease us with this camo cars.

Can you not get it through your head that there is NO GS-F right now? They would put it at an auto show before they actually put it out as a test mule. And this doesn't even look like a GS! It's the XF!

it's the XF. They just put a little piece of tape in the center to make it look like the grill is split into two parts. Similar photos surfaced of this for the XF a few days ago. It's NOT a BMW and it's NOT anything else. It's the XF.

I think its the new 7 Series..But its surprising to see test cars in the UAE, I guess its become such an important market that manufacturers have to test their cars specifically there...Not surprising considering Bentley's are like taxis there..

Ok so it's definitely the Jaguar. The reason why I thought it was a BMW is because I saw the typical BMW Hoffmeister, something so many car company's have copied over the years.

Must admit, it's hard to say. But those door handles really are very Lexus, and it wouldn't be long until they started copying MB by placing indicators in the wing mirrors. Very possibly Lexus...But it does still look very BMW at the same time. I'm confused :S

I highly doubt its the new Jag..if you look at the rims those are specificly from the current 7 series.also the backlights look alot like the shape from the BMW CS CONCEPT...also the Jaguar 4 door, has a much larger grill than that, the spy shots from that car proove that this small grill is coming from something else..it probably is the new CS CONCEPT..front pictures coulda done the trick, to really see what it is.

Maybe it is the fact that I am one of oh about .02% of the population that can visualize 3-dimensional objects in my head and that as a result I am partially eidetic that I find it complete lunacy that there have been over 60 messages here, when there is absolutely no doubt.
That is the Jaguar XF. It is not a Lexus, it is not a BMW, it is not a Saab, a GMC, a Mercedes, a Yugo, or a HUMMER. It is the Jaguar XF and none other.
As far as the supposed appearance of the Hoffmeister kink, I suggest to you that such is an artifact of the grainy images combined with the camouflage. I may be wrong but I would place money on the idea that the chrome surround has a similar form to the XK coupe- which describes no kink. Such a thing as a kink, would be an anomaly given Jaguar's design scheme.

"also the backlights look alot like the shape from the BMW CS CONCEPT...also the Jaguar 4 door, has a much larger grill than that, the spy shots from that car proove that this small grill is coming from something else.."
Also, the "backlights" are similar to the JAGUAR XF CONCEPT...
And how can you tell how large the grille is from this picture? It's not small, BTW. Take a look at it relative to the rest of the front end.
Are there only a handful of people that can see this? How do you guys not know? Am I going insane?
