It's a photoshop of the old Mustang Concept and the Camaro Concept morphed together.

Can't you tell it's two pictures? There's a line in the middle, and the background color changes.

Mustang is not ugly.
It never will be.
I am deeply offended.

Kidding....

very camaro-like....i like it. imo, the current stang is too retro and bland...already dated looking, no matter how many variations of it ford comes out with.

Ford said that they were gonna soften the retro cues for 2009.
I hate the Camaro concept.
I love the Challenger concept.

A 4door Mustang would be to much and ugly.

Well if this is what Road and Track was showing. I hope they are wrong. I hope Ford can do better than this. And I am not a Stang fan.

it looks like in this design they stole the high belt-line and small glass to body ratio from chrysler 300 and dodge charger. you can still tell its a mustang how the rear comes together.

Ugh. There will never be a 4 door Mustang. It would simply be called something else and look different, even if it shares the platform (think Fairmont/Mustang).

jas173, you may think ponycars are a waste, yet they rake in big bucks for Ford, and I don't think long-term will be that bad, either. I agree though, design should move forward instead of relying on the past too much.

However, the platform is rife with possibilities to develop more RWD cars, ssedans included. RWD does offer a little bit more flexibility in design than FWD (note almost all FWD awkward A-pillar/door/front axle line junctions) This could move design forward, however I think it will take a major change in the way cars are manufactured to pioneer any major leaps forward in design.
