Volkswagen has welcomed the introduction of new engine regulations to Formula One for 2013, but stopped short of committing its future to motorsport's top flight. On Friday the FIA gave the green light for a new efficient formula for 2013, featuring smaller turbo engines and a greater emphasis on green technologies such as KERS.
