New GT-R V-Spec coming in December
The Nissan GT-R has been causing a storm of late with its supercar-beating Nurburging lap times and scorching acceleration figures, but there’s an even more extreme model just around the corner and latest reports claim it’s due for release as early as this December.

The new car is the GT-R Spec-V but it isn’t expected to arrive in the U.S. until 2010.

Spec-V attributes will be a lighter kerb weight and more power brought about by the use of carbon-fiber for some of the body panels and internal structure.

I'm sure it will be hugely fast, but I still don't like it. If the V-Spec would look like the racing version (minus the extra spoilers), I would love it.

Wow, this machine just keeps getting better and better. The GT-R was a beast and took down the competition, but this V-Spec will dig them up and demolish them again.

I still would buy a Porsche. It takes more skill to drive a Porsche than the computerized GT-R. Sorry I don't care how fast it is the Porsche's it "crushed" still my choice. A Turbo vs the GT-R on the street will be close. It all boils down to the driver and how he feels on that particular day.

If this car wasn't being introduced here no one be talking about it on this site and you all know that. It's just the playstation generation finally has something they can brag about since it was their favorite car in the game.

It's good their limited production because just like the NSX no one will pay the hefty price tag, at least not in bulk numbers. On the street a Porsche will still have more curb appeal. Styling the GT-R should have been more dramatic and super car like. It is a super car right boys?

I can't wait for the next Toyota sports car or Honda NSX replacement comes out. It may not performs good as the GT-R but I'm sure it'll look better.

i have to agree with a63. gt-r does good numbers but only the gaming type will buy the gt-r because people with the money would still buy a porsche, ferrari, or lamborghini, whatever nissan claims they are competitors against.

it's a great performing and expensive nissan. like richard hammond said in top gear no one will pay that much for a nsx. what makes u think they'll pay for a gt-r even tho it's cheaper.
