I can imagine what it will look like.
It will get the typical AMG bumpers and 4 exhaust pipes.

You dudes are smokin something. The C63 will have an ISF/500 for lunch. Im waiting to drive one when it comes out. I'm looking forward to an M3/C63/ISF/RS4(?) comparo I'd like to think the C63 will be the fastest.

i agree with you tauron
the C63 will be inheriting a 6.2 liter engine from the other AMG models
the CLK63 gets about 481 horsepower (de-tuned) so expect the C63 to get a bit less than that
460? 470?
I think it will be pretty sweet...the fastest, best, luxurious small sedan with the M3 taking the crown of "best coupe in the world"
excitement hahahaha

E63, CLS63, & CLK63 Black are all rated at over 500hp. The CLK 63 Cabrio features 475hp.My guess would be same 475hp for the new C63 as well.

You forgot S63 and CL63 (520hp)... the S63 AMG is probably the perfect S-Class.

The essence of the C63 is the engine so don't waste my time with a buch of camo exterior pics. Give me full engine specifications.

This is probably the car Lexus is aiming at with its new IS-F. Although the exterior of that car is totally wrong (and ugly).
An AMG is not screaming for attention, only true enthusiasts will know that it isn't just a random Merc passing by at 170-190 mph.
The IS-F both have automatics, both are luxurious and both have high-displacement N/A V8 engines. Although the AMG is almost 1.3 litres more, it can rev up to 7500 rpm and produces much more torque and probably slightly more horsepower too.
Maybe the IS-F wants too much. It's wants to be the next RS4/M3-beater (styling) on a track but it also wants to eat the C63 AMG.(luxury and mechanically)
I'm curious to see how it works out. But if there is one thing I can assure you, is that the IS-F will be a complete FLOP in Europe. That's just a fact.

I don't think Lexus is planning on selling the IS-F in Europe. The market for foreign performance cars is very small due to the simple fact that people with wealth spend it on known brands. Lexus is very weak in Europe.
They should perhaps bring it over as a special edition model limited to perhaps 500 cars. Just an idea. You're right though, I do see the IS-F as being a flop in Europe.

Oh, not just Europe. Lexus is going to take over the world, of course.

The IS-F will be produced in very small numbers here in Europe, its released in around April 08 and numbers are very limited. No surprises most have already gone with deposits being taken back in march! Us Euros dont have the 12 lane B roads you have in america, thats why we invented lotus.

im a m3 fan but agree that the clk black series is the current best sports coupe in the world. that thing is amazing.
this new c63 looks good; better than the last gen that looked small, unmuscular & had a horrible stance. looks much better than the standard c-class which is okay.
