The Estima was marketed as the Toyota Previa back then. I think the Sienna is designed and made in the US.

Hey Slam,Alec is correct the Estima is the Previa in the U.S,the Sienna is an exclusive vehicle to the U.S,like the Solara,Avalon,Tundra,Tacoma, and Scion Tc...

Yea that van's design has Previa written all over it, especially with the same slope front nose.

what I like about the Previa/Estima is that it has a hybrid version.

I think it doesn't look that bad. It's alright. In terms of Van's I'd only take an Odyssey or a Sienna. Both well equipped can cost quite a bit but its luxury options.

The Sienna is quite a bit of torque as well.

Yeah like everyone said, this is the Previa.... or the successor....not a US vehicle

Sienna looks better than this van... this just wouldn't float in the US, if they eventually marketed it here. Minivan buyers are too conservative.

The conservative remark is spot on. Which is exactly the problem. If they brought a minivan like that over here they just might change the perception...and get a whole new bunch of former SUV owners who are ready for a change.

this is the Estima, a Japan only vehicle. Based on the Previa but different. Lots of older ones in Britain, never officially sold here. Is it just a Previa with a different front or is it narrower or something? The old one was narrower...

What kind of improvements are there? It is definatly uglier! Then again I could care less how ugly it is if it improved mielage and safety while retaining or improving power.

It's not the Sienna. This isn't coming to the US market. Did you bother to read any of the comments?

Yes I read the other coments! And I hope they are right, Improvements are advancements in efficency and more power, not looks even if this was the next van.
