Nissan has announced a series of updates for the 2013 GT-R, aimed at improved engine response, stability at high speeds and ride quality.



Nissan engineers fitted the 550-hp 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine with new injectors, while a new relief valve was added to the turbocharger to supress the loss of boost. Both modifications are aimed at improving engine response in both the mid- and upper-rpm rev range. Also, a new oil pan baffle was mounted to help maintain pressure and reduce friction.
