I hooked up my accelerator to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

"There is no manual transmission option"

WHAT THE F***??!?!?!?

This better get to 60 in sub 4 seconds, otherwise a slushbox is NOT justified.

Well if it is a DSG type tranny then it might not be as much of an issue.

But the lack of a manual is real issue for the hardcore tripedalist .

How exactly does having TWO clutches make it better than one when it comes time to replace?

As far as tiptronic is concerned, its like beating off to the underwear section of a K-Mart flyer.

But seriously, a manual transmission allows the driver to truly connect with the car. Die-hard BMW fans that pay homage to the 'magic feel' should in turn agree with this concept. In a world where technology continues to make things 'easier', this in one area where I always want to 'do the work'.

04CTS~....so you DON'T want to enjoy what your driving...you just want to go milliseconds or centiseconds faster than everyone else?!?

PS. Don't get mislead by the name "Need4Speed"...enjoyment factor is right up there with speed because at the end of the race I ain't taking home no trophies...if I'm lucky I won't get arrested!

Love it, love it. Incredible bargain. 911 Turbo performance for Carrera money.

But what's the BHP?

A few online resources have mentioned "...up to 550 bhp". It seems more likely that this car will have between 500 and 550. This car may have more HP and be a few seconds faster than a 911...but I'm waiting to hear about how it feels and whether it is a better balanced car than the 911. I'm also interested in the quality of the materials used in this car. No resource also has mentioned the braking on this car...I'm interested in knowing that also. I'm sure this will definetly be a value performer...but at what cost?
