Just recently, Nissan have been testing their most current race car model which is most probably being prepared for the FIA GT racing in the Japanese circuits. Spy photos from AutoSport magazine have been made available on stands in Japan. Some of the apparent modifications give clues to some considerable upgrades. The bumper at the front is substituted with a carbon item that comes with a more aggressive splitter, the fenders at the front are flared out and made from carbon also. The broad body goes along the side skirts to the rear sections which are bulked out and vented for the brakes at the rear. Huge AP Racing brakes from the SuperGT range vehicles find there position at the back of the Rays forged aluminum rims which are also taken directly from SuperGT. The wing at the back is likewise a new GT spec item which may have some connection to it’s SuperGT relative.
