Nissan GTR sold out in Europe and US
Just one month after the European order books were opened for its all-new GT-R, Nissan has already received over 1,500 orders for the supercar – accounting for the entire first year’s run. The bulk of these are from the UK alone, which racked up more than 950 orders in total.

Those lucky customers will have plenty of time to start saving for their cars as the GT-R’s European launch isn’t scheduled until March of next year.

I think you meant to say:

"How come I'm so ugly and this car is so fast????"

"How come ugly cars sell so fast????"

Good question! Clearly there are a lot of short dicks in the US and UK who desperately need a fast car to compensate for what they lack. Never mind it's an eyesore with zero soul.

cars have souls? that cracks me up everytime when someone says that. You mean to say a car that make all the right noises, all the right moves, and is pleasing to the eye right? what if the GTR had the sheet metal of a Ferrari 430, would the car now have a soul? This car kicks the pants off supercars costing double, even triple. You may think it looks ugly and all that but to me it looks like a eager little puppy that's waiting to go out and play :)

Wow what's up with the BMW hating here? The GT-R is a nice car and performs great but don't knock a BMW. After all the GT-R is a Nissan. You won't be driving one of those to an executive meeting.

I love the GT-R and I would buy one but some of the playstation junky fan boys make it sound like it's a supercar in EVERYWAY like a Ferrari is. It'll never have the soundtrack, one main reason of owning a supercar, and of course the styling. Any company can stuff a lot of power enhancing parts to make a car go fast. That's a given. Haven't we seen that in the past 15 years in rice rockets?

I ain't hating on the GT-R but in the end it's still an expensive Nissan. It is what it is and it does the job well!.. EXTREMELY WELL. but don't take anything away from what BMW has done in the automotive industry. Mercedes & Audi for that matter.

The Japanese are known to stuff aftermarket parts to enhance a cars natural ability to perform. What makes you think they didn't contact aftermarket merchants to help them with this car?

Ok enough of this.

Congrats to Nissan! great job!

The British have taste. Reliable, fast and affordable sports cars are their thing. None of these overpriced German wannabe performance cars.

Nissan has to limit the amount of GT-R's produced, otherwise they will go out of business.

First off, congratulations to Nissan on selling out this extraordinary vehicle.
On another note, I think it's possible that they do have to limit the production. This car seems to be way to good for it's price. Unless other cars in its class are completely outrageously overpriced or Nissan is selling this vehicle at a loss. It's almost like gaming consoles being sold at a loss, but accessories and games make up for this loss. I'm not saying other super cars aren't over priced because everyone knows they are to some extent, but this bad boy definitely seems to be under priced. More power to Nissan for the development and engineering of this automobile.
