Nissan Sales Maintain Pace Up 7.6% While Infiniti Rises 5.9%

(NNA) today reported sales of 87,877 units in July, up 5.9 percent from the prior year. Nissan Division sales increased by 7.6 percent over last year. Infiniti Division sales decreased by 5.9 percent versus the prior year. NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS · July sales for Nissan-brand vehicles of 78,351 units increased by 7.6 percent on a daily sales rate basis compared with last year’s 75,860 units sold. · The Altima, with the addition of the Altima Coupe to its lineup, posted sales of 24,464 units, up 44.2 percent over last year. · Sales of the Versa subcompact reached 7,609 units. INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS · Infiniti sales declined by 5.9 percent, with 9,526 units sold, as compared with last July’s 10,546 units. · The all-new G Sedan contributed sales of 4,046 units, up 34.7 percent over last year. NNA INFORMATION · Combined July sales for Nissan and Infiniti totaled 87,877 units, a 5.9 percent increase when compared with last year’s sales of 86,408 units.
