Nissan hopes GT-R will boost image amongst German rivals
Nissan is hoping that the its brand new high-performance GT-R will help it boost its brand image in Europe, giving it some respect amongst the German giants BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Porsche.
For the first time ever, Nissan will make a left-hand-drive GT-R that it plans on selling in global markets. Since its launch in Japan in 1969, the Nissan GT-R, previously known as the Skyline, became one of the hottest names in sports car history. Fans in Europe even started buying the car...

Nissan shouldn't need anyone approve or improve their image with the German. It pretty much Kick the King of German Sportcar "Porsche" right in between the legs.
Nissan GT-R base model run the track in 7:35s and 0-60 in 3.5s or less. Then come the V Spec GT-R which will be lighter than the base model and will have close to 550+hp.
Mark my words, the lighter and more powerful Nissan GT-R with 550+hp will beat the Porsche GT2.

The GT-R is a boy racer car. It doesn't compete with any German sports car because Germans don't build tin cans like Nissan, Subaru or Mitsubishi. This GT-R might fulfill the wet dreams of 17-18 years old punks who think acceleration is everything but any comparison of this cheaply built econobox with a Porsche is just retarded.

star, FYI, the base model Nissan GT-R run around the famous German track in 7:35s, that faster than the 911 turbo.
I bet you that the 2010 Nissan GT-R V-Spec is going to be faster than the Porsche GT2.
And FYI, Nissan GT-R was the first sportcar back in the day that make run at the famous German track in under 8s.
Get your fact because you beggining to look like a dumbass.

Faster doesn't equal BETTER, my little rebel. The Cobalt SS does the ring faster than a lot of great cars. Does that make it a great car? I don't think so. You don't know anything about cars if you compare them strictly on numbers. This GT-R could be faster than a Veyron...it will still drive like a POS Nissan. How a car DRIVES is more important than how fast it goes. And yes there are fast cars that drive like s**t. But I guess you are one of the people that think Dodge Neon SRT4 is a great car just because it can go fast.

Apparently Star has a moving criteria for "great". It also seems he owns a Cobalt SS and thinks that poor thing is fast.
Maybe that's why he's so pissed and pathetic.....
Pathetic.....
