Nissan preparing GT-R Spec-M model

Looks great in white. But I wouldn't mind a black one either. I think the M-Spec would be too stiff for my taste, considering that the base model is already super stiff.

Black and White are awesome colors on this car. However, the Titanium (Dark Grey) is my favorite color.

Customization is always a good thing. Jeremy Clarkson, Chris Harris, and Tiff Needel all think that the GT-R is like a mini Veyron, and they are right. They have driven the most expensive and exclusive cars in the world. They are all well respected and know what they are talking about.

Really bigeasy, what is unreliable? VQ engine? FM platform? And compared to what? As for being too soft, the ripple control is probably for small bumps in the road to have a smoother ride.

Yes, we all know the little kid Star is filled with hate and rage. He isn't confident of German products so he has to go around bashing the GT-R every chance that he gets. That is what happens when you are close mined and lack intelligence and proper upbringing. Everyone here knows that he is insecure and jealous and obsessed with bashing. Actually, Japanese companies should be happy, they must be doing something right, when someone feels so threatened that they need to lash out every chance that they get.

The GT-R is a great car, but all of the Spec variations are a little silly. Almost every car has a set of customizable selections that can be made when the car is purchased. Back in the day, they used to be called "options".

bigeasy, the transmission is new, so it's not based on the same unreliable crap. Use launch control on an M3 more than 10 times and warranty is void. It's a common problem with launch control systems, and even more so with AWD performance cars. Owners tend to not do redline launches in 911TT and Lamborghinis for fear of blowing the tranny, but the Japanese car is supposed to be impervious.

As for the different Spec variations being silly. I agree, but this isn't for the US is it? The method seems to work for Japan on plenty of other cars as well.

I doubt anyone in here bishing even knows about the M spec, named after the engineer. It made the GT-R slightly softer but it was still a beast and it was really loved by European testers. It was sold in very very limited quantities.
