Nissan working on turbocharged 370Z?

The Cayman S as it stands right now probably can't compete with the 370z in terms of numbers. However refinement between Porsche and a Nissan can't even be compared although the 370z's interior is a HUGe improvement on the 350z and I like it a lot. The Cayman and or it's Boxster sibling are great handling cars. Only problem they've always lacked break horsepower. However, some times car buyers don't always look for the power but the experience. From my experience with the Cayman S, it's a nice and refined sports car that you can't call "SLOW". However, the much cheaper, and economical 370z is a bargain to say the least, just like the GT-R!.

I sat in a new 370z at the last auto show that past through here. Interior quality was amazing, by far the nicest interior I have ever seen. If Porsche plans for it's Cayman S to keep up with the 370z, then they have to improve on all fronts.

Can't argue with such an informed enthusiast like KZ258, when you're right, you're right -

even tho i never saw that episode of topgear, i think i can still safely assume the Z still came close to the caymans time despite the huge price gap. usually people now pick on the Z's inferior interior quality compared to the cayman when they already know the track numbers are close as hell. the haters are always trying to nit-pick on the next flaw. because of the price difference, its already a given that the Z will suffer some minor flaws. i dont know why this concept is just so hard to grasp. but i can show you another quote about the Z from the same source.

Bottom line is 370Z and Cayman S buyers won't cross shop. The price gap is too big. However, it's not to say a Porsche owner won't buy a 370Z to whip around for fun. Ok, say we forget the interior aspect, the Nissan is for the bargain buyer, but the performance is awesome for the money, can't deny that. Porsche's are built solid and their respectable so you can't say a Cayman owner is just out to get insecure little girls lol. A car can't make someone get more ladies. It's how you play your game. Don't hate the car hate the player.

i agree with all of what you said. a person a who can comfortably afford a cayman will most likely not even look at a 370z (i know i wouldnt). i was mainly aiming the "insecure girls" comment at the porsche cheerleaders since they always seem to be picking on the Z because its cheaper and whatnot.
