The 2016 Lincoln MKX is an all-new generation product for the company's product portfolio. While the last-gen vehicle looked a bit like a train, this much better looking take on the MKX has a bit of maturity baked in.

Dare I say it looks luxurious with its MKC-like design?

Battling for market share in a highly competitive market place, the MKX doesn't have room to dilly dally. It needs to hit its opponents where it hurts. As luxury sport-utility vehicle prices continue to escalate, Lincoln wisely backed down the MKX's base price by $800 bones.

Though it may not sound like much, keep in mind that many buyers are eager to jump ship if the price is right. Here's how Lincoln has set it up:

- 3.7-liter V6 with FWD: $38,100*
- 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost with FWD: $40,100*
- 3.7-liter V6 with AWD: $40,595*
- 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost with AWD: $42,595*

*Please note: these prices do NOT include title, taxes and fees!

That said, let us know if Lincoln has your attention with its all-new MKX or if $800 isn't enough to get you into its showrooms.
