Yeah, he reads from teleprompters, but at least he actually writes his own speeches. And no, I don't think he wants to run the automakers, just trim the fat and let them go on their way.

FWIW I think he's screwing up by not doing anything about the Bush Torture program. But he is doing an outstanding job. Do you think that McCain would have done better? LOL!!

While I agree with you that Star's comments are inflamatory, do not confuse education with intelligence. I am not implying that Obama is stupid, but he is no genius.

In fact most people with extremly high I.Q.s as far as it correlates with intelligence are rather un-educated. Marilyn Vos Savant (the supergenius of all supergeniuses: I.Q. 228- she actually scored a perfect score on the Adult Stanford-Binet at 10 years of age) and Christopher Langan (I.Q. ~195)are both college dropouts, and Rick Rosner (I.Q. ~195)never really did well in school and I seem to recall that he never actually graduated from college. Ronald Hoeflin (I.Q. 180) is the only one I can think of with a Ph.D.- but is only a borderline supergenius.

Education and Intelligence are not the same, and education is not a substitue for intelligence.

It seems you like Lexus. There's is nothing more anti-American than driving a car from and built in a foreign country. You're not supporting American car companies and you're not supporting the UAW.

Obama does not write his own speeches, he reads off the teleprompter what someone else wrote for him. A good example is when he thanks some people in the room and after he read off the prompter for a minute the names came up again and Obama had to tell the prompter operator to speed it up.

Did you hear about Osama buzzing Lower Manhattan with Air Force One and a couple of Air Force F-16's? That dolt Obama tells GM they can't fly their corporate jets and then the dolt waste $350k of the tax payers moneys for a photo op and scares the hell out of the people and says he's sorry it won't happen again. I think what Obama did was an experiment and it was torture.

Next Osama and hair plugs goes to a hamburger place and buy dozens of hamburgers. That must have cost $20,000 to haul the secret service out to protect him.

BTW, what happened to the dog? Boy did that fizzle out!

Did you see Michelle Obama handing out food to the homeless wearing $540 sneakers?

Just remember when big Lib Truman dropped two atomic bombs onto civilians What was it Bush did? He water boarded 3 high ranking terrorist that conducted 9/11.

Go ahead and put Bush and Cheney on trial and you will see Obama's economy go down to levels this country has never seen. I dare you.

it's only a matter of time before the recent discoveries of thermite residues in several locations downwind of the WTC prove there were pre-planted explosives. the towere were taken down in a planned demolition, in case the jets didn't do the job. which they could not anyway.

You are somewhat correct. Obama doesn't directly want to run the car companies, but turn them over to his largest contributors, the unions, to run. Plus, he's hardly making tough decisions when he can just print money and/or tax the hell out of us (that WILL happen) to pay for all of this crap that is unconstitutional. And from the Chrysler deal, he's not making decisions, he's DICTATING, and in some cases by threats, according to one attorney involved.

I will grant you that poor management is involved and they should have been either replaced through shareholders or the board, not the gov't, and management should have dealt more strongly with the unions way back when they had the chance. Management hasn't run a car company for years, more like a pension and healthcare company. Unions are just as much to blame and were unwilling to give up much...until recently and too late.

I'm not really into name calling, but let's just say Obama is clearly in the camp of the Federal gov't running and or dictating pretty much everything he can think of. Again, not quite what the constitution had in mind. I'm sure you felt the same way about Bush, that people calling him names, were "haters". By the way, were you part of the Harvard Law Review? Have you ever heard of the expression, "it's not what you know, it's who you know?" or affirmative action...ask the firemen in Connecticut. No doubt he is intelligent, but this idea that he's a genius is a little old, especially when it comes to math...just ask the Chrysler or GM bondholders.

As for Michelle, again, I don't really care about her shoes, but i'll bet you dollars to donuts that if Laura Bush or some conservative were at a homeless shelter in $500 dollar sneakers, it would be front page news. That really speaks more directly to the utter lack of any objectivity by the media, however. I'm quite honestly more concerned about the trillions of dollars of debt that the Dems/Obama are piling on to everyone, but apparently that was only a concern to the media when Bush/Repubs were in office.

Either way, we are all screwed...although the unions might make out pretty well with car companies if Obama gets them their "fair share" of ownership.
