As you may know already, Porsche was seen as the biggest absence from the Detroit Auto Show, but it appears that things will change for next year, as the German manufacturer will return to the 2011 Detroit Auto Show, after a three-year absence.

For those who don’t know, Porsche withdrew from the American car show back in 2008 because it wanted to find “more personal, direct ways to reach out and communicate to its potential customer base.”
