hao,

Because the Bently is a direct alternative to the ZR1? Seriously I could see if you said an AM Vantage or Jag XK, which are awesome cars and at least in the same category but the Conti GT? No!

According to my point of view, i would say that this is a really nice car that is priced at a really nice range in America.... but in UK.... FORGET IT... 200,000 it would take a Benz S65.... *Im personally a MB fan....*....

^^Bentley GT would work fine too^^

and u think you can buy a S65 with 200,000 dollar in U.K?

U.K auto price is much higher than U.S. take Honda civic for example, it cost almost twice as much. in fact, anything cost twice as high in U.K than in U.S.

You could get an S63 for that money, but not an S65. That costs the equivalent of 300000 dollars in the UK.

$200,000 for a Corvette?
Are they expecting a lot of hillbillies to win the lottery, or what?

Exchange rates aside, £109,000 is....

Cheaper than anything from Ferrari, more then a 911 turbo, cheaper than any Lambo, about the same as a DB9, or an AMG SL / CL, alot more than an R8 or an M6, double the price of a GT-R, about 4 times more expensive than anything else Chevrolet sell in the UK.

I think they will sell a few, there are alot of people in the UK that like big bad american cars. The challenger, mustang, camaro would all sell here in the UK. They hav more character than alot of European of Asian offerings.

This year Corvette (It isn't sold as a Chevvy here) sold only 11 cars...

109000 pounds is a lot, a Bentley GT is only slightly more, and an R8 or 911 Turbo are less money.

Its the only thing "they" can come up with. Especially since it smokes most of what "they" drive :)

Very misleading post. All the cars are more expensive there than in the US.

True...its called volume. GM expects to sell more Vettes in the US so will lower the price accordingly. Low volume in UK thus more rare.

In other countries, there are also taxes based on size and displacement and maybe other fees that can push the price of a certain to go up. Unlike the US, where you don't pay any of that nonsense (except a gas-guzzler tax but only on high end exotics)that other governments give.
