PARIS MOTOR SHOW QUICK PICS: Can I Really Get My Favorite Sites With BMW's In Car Internet?
Can you really get to your favorite site with BMW's in car internet service?  Well 001 jumped into the new 7 Series in Paris and gave it a whirl.

As you can see he had little trouble pulling up both AutoSpies and DealerRater on the in car screen.  After those two picks where else would you want to go?

Hey! Its AutoSpies.com!!

Question: Is there a keyboard option, because that wheel might be a little annoying.

screw the dealer they already make bluetooth keyboards all they'd have to do is make it compatible.

Interesting...with voice recognition this could be cool, or with easy book marks

Voice recognition would be crucial.

This is pretty cool. I think weather, traffic and stock quotes would come before this (weather and traffic are available but only on a select few cars)

that is crazy now you have 2 forms of a navigation system the internet & the in car Nav but what would be crazy is if they could install Microsoft programs like word, excel, powerpoint, outlook where you can literally run your buisness from your car.

If you were in the rear seat you could just bring your laptop.

The internet on this will breakdown because BMW makes pure trash.

BMW = ECONOCAR JUNK

The internet will fail in this car.

I'm not sure what to make of this feature. I'm not surprised that it has finally happened, but will the driver be physically able to use it while driving? Because I think the only time that's appropriate is in stop-and-go traffic.

Yeah but BMW has always been good at letting you access all screen options including GPS while driving. I hate when I'm in my Jeep & I need to quickly punch in an address but I have to pull over.

I would like to see BMW continue to make all screen options accessible while driving as well as the new internet feature. Think about it, on a long haul the passenger can access the internet while you drive if they're without a laptop.
