Ferrari is sort of like the mafia. I mean, it's Italian, right? It's been well documented that the company likes to manipulate the media and keep its cards close to its chest. I can't blame them as this is strictly business, but at the same time it can be frustrating.

So, it's nice to know that to some extent the F brand's tight grip is starting to fail.

Not only has information been leaking out about its upcoming 458M, but we've been hearing quite an earful about its latest sports car, the 458 Speciale Spider. If you've kept up with us you'd know by now that the car was shown at a VIP event. Now it will be presented to the public at the Paris Motor Show come October.

Expect it to follow in the footsteps of the Speciale coupe. I'd assume they'll name it something different though.

Our source finally confirmed the debut of the new car and also told us that private unveilings of the 458 Speciale Spider took place this month at Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters. Moreover, it appears that clients are very happy with what they saw and they are even happier than they bought such a vehicle.
