I guess this could go against that new Droopy Maxima next year.

I must say, that new VW, whatever they end up calling it, will look really nice.

Did you think VW would launch an ugly vehicle ?

I expected whatever they released to be very well Executed.

No, but I dont expect them to look this good. The passat, while not ugly, is boring IMO. And the current Jetta looks like a clone of the Corolla (whether you like it or not!)

I hate the Jetta. It's the worst VW in a long time, at least from a design standpoint. Bring back the timeless design of the old model!

You have to be blind without arms to consider the current Passat the slightest bit good looking... Starting from the galvanized plastic front all the way to the fat butt with the ogling rear lamps... brrrrrrrrr

My guess that the picture shows the Volkswagen CLS fighter, which will follow suit with the Phaeton or the W8 Passat. At least it does not have the horrendous nose job of late models.

Look like they borrow a lot of Japanese design in this car from the Acura RS and TL. On the other hand it look pretty good.

Call it what they will, we all know that it's just another (over-priced) VW Sedan (the 40k V8 Passat anyone?), and all it represents is further evidence that VW has truly lost its way.

What VW needs to do is stop trying to compete with (sister brand) Audi and focus on real Volks Wagens i.e. People's Cars, like the Up!

Based on the photo, this VW doesn't look that bad.

VW is no new comer to designing excellent cars. They just fail to keep them running and from catching on fire. They should sale all Passats with fire extinguishers.
