Peugeot 308 HDi 110 enters the 2009 Guinness Book of Records
The Peugeot 308 HDi 110 holds now the World Record for the highest average fuel comsuption on a journey as well as the record for the furthest distance travelled on a full tank of fuel. Available with two HDI engines delivering 90 and 110 hp the vehicle broke the old record held by a Peugeot 307 hatchback which completed 1192 miles on just 60 litres of diesel fuel and an average fuel consumption of 90.75 mpg. Hell, I could beat this record. Just give me a Honda Insight and I'll modify the crap out of it. i.e. tearing apart both interior and exterior to lighten up the weight and bolt on thin-ass tires and replace anything metal w/plastic...damn, I can't believe this was the world record...I should think about entering this crap.

Well the whole point was that this was a completely standard Peugeot, with 2 people and luggage in it. No mods at all.
