Plug-in Toyota Prius coming to Japan in 2 years
As reported at the end of July, Toyota has begun testing of a plug-in Toyota Prius and will become the first manufacturer to have it certified for use on public roads in Japan.

AutoExpress is now reported that the The Toyota Plug-in HV will be on the Japanese market within 2 years. Toyota engineers have said that they’ve improved the battery-alone mileage from 2 to 8 miles....

electric bills can go shooting thru MULTISTORY roofs, and still MORE THAN COMPENSATE for mpg figures from some 100+mpg to simply incalcuble. (like when some will get around to filling their tanks ONCE a YEAR or so.)

someone once cranked thru the figures, and said a plug-in hybrid's incremental electric bill increase would be the equivalent of ...

ta daa! TWO CENTS a MILE whenever the gas engine is dormant.
