Instead of just enjoying the powerful roar of the engine through the exhaust pipes some have opted to take pleasure in playing their favorite music en-route to their destination. The famous German audio company Burmester has joined foces with Porsche to produce a special upmarket audio system for the latest 2010 Panamera by Porsche.

The first car Burmester made an audio system for is the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, and now it’s the Panamera’s turn. The system consists of 16 speakers, each equipped with its own individual amplifier with ranges from 25 watts for the tweeters up to 300 watts for the subwoofer. The dashboard comes with an air-motion tweeter and the amplifiers are all analog for the best quality sound. The resulting product, considering that Burmester has been at it for five years, provides an unparalleled audio experience that has received the endorsement of Porsche. The basic system comes with a hefty 5,000 Euro ($7,000) price tag.
