Preview: 2011 BMW 6-series coupe and cabrio
BMW's next generation 6-series coupe and cabrio won't be available until late 2010, however we can get a pretty accurate look at how it will look thanks to these renderings. The new design is expected to grow in size and feature a sportier design and also sit lower than the current out going model. There are rumors the car will be offered with two different versions, a more luxurious GT and an aggressive sports model. The engine is unfortunately supposed to carry over untouched, but the new M6 will get a twin turbo V-10 and dual clutch transmission.[Source:Motor Authority] Read Article

Back an improvement. The front i prefer on the current, so low and mean looking.

I like everything about this rendering but the taillights...I like the rear end on the current 6er just as much as I hate it, though it is clearly the designs major problem area it just needs a little softening. Not to soft however I wouldn't want the rear of a 3er coupe on the 6.

Looks disgusting, even the current 6 series looks better, even though i think the back of it looks like a Peugeot 407 coupe..

Lovin' it! Much better than the current version, except for the oversized double kidney grill, that should be toned down.

Old.

I think the headlights are silly. They look like they're trying to be mean but they're just dumb.

with the exception of the last 3 coupe I haven' liked any of the new BMWs at first glance. this one is no different.

I think the current BMW 6 Series look better than this next gen 6 Series. This next 6 Series Gen front look very goofy, the current look more aggressive and sporty.

I am inclined to agree.

At first I hated the current 6-Series, but now I have come to appreciate its aggressive beauty.

Much better looking than the current six, but that wouldn't be hard. Still, it leaves me cold. I'd much rather have a Bentley GTC. But considering I can't afford either, my opinion doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

This car is beautiful, nobody noticed the drivers side vent window, I haven't seen one these in years.

I'm a little concerned, if you guys are enthusiasts and like cool cars, how in gods name could you not love this car. Come on get real

Better, but the rear end still looks like a Toyota Solara.
