With Hyundai’s entry into unexpected market segments in the past year with its Genesis Coupe and Equus, Hyundai is expected to expand its Sonata line.

It’s expected that the shapely sedan would give rise to a coupe and to a convertible as well. Sources say that Hyundai is currently developing the Sonata convertible. This move would be well-timed especially since production for the Toyota Solara has stopped while Chrysler-Fiat is rumored to be thinking about ending the Sebring’s run for good.
