Production Dodge Challenger options revealed
Earlier this month Chrysler revealed pricing information for its upcoming Dodge Challenger SRT8 and now the car’s options list has been leaked onto the internet thanks to several forums. According to the source, the first Challengers will be SRT8 models all equipped with five-speed automatic transmissions as standard. Further down the track will be the release of six-speed manual versions as well as the non-SRT8 models, which will either come in 3.5L V6 or 5.7L V8 HEMI guises. The SRT8 will come with a 6.1L HEMI V8 as standard.

In 2009, Dodge will release a convertible model and in 2011 the 3.5L V6 engine will be replaced with a new 4.0L Phoenix engine. The 6.1L HEMI is also expected to get an update, with a 6.4L version with around 450 to 500hp rumored to be in the works. Read Article
