I truly hope that the car is truly ready for consumers. Honda was the first mass hybrid maker in the US and is now trying to be the first mass hydrogen maker in the US to make up for Toyota's hybrid crown. If Honda does come out with a hydrogen consumer car it will pass GM by at least a year.

Audi was the first mass hybrid maker in Europe and wondering if they have hydrogen hopes?

Beautiful!

Make it reasonably affordable and I'll be the first in line to buy one. I'd even move closer to the city so I can fill it up.
I'd pay in the neighbourhood of $60K for one if hydrogen was equivalent to $2/L. My guess is the first handful won't be purchased by us regular folk.

It would definitely be subsidized, but atleast it would be for the benefit of the environment, not some greedy car company that finds it makes more money selling 100 year old technology.

btw, on average, one barrel of crude will make 2x the amount of gasoline than it will diesel. The geniuses in Europe haven't figured out that diesel forces them to import twice as much oil.
I wonder if the Germans ever bring this fact up in their propaganda tapes?
So really, the reason why America is in Iraq is because the Germans keep selling diesels.
